As of March 13, 2023, The Myth of the ADHD Child: 101 Ways to Improve Your Child’s Behavior and Attention Span Without Drugs, Labels, or Coercion is available as an audio book through Audible. It is produced by Post Hypnotic Press.
This will now make the book accessible to busy parents who can listen to the book in their cars during commuting hours (total length 12 hours 39 minutes). It’s also good for ADHD diagnosed adolescents and adults who may have trouble sitting still long enough to read a 350 page book, but can easily listen ”on the go” to the book on their ear buds!
To order go to Amazon and click on the audio version of the book, or go directly to Audible (where if you’re new to Audible you can listen for free for 30 days and get two free audio books). Since I’ve written in my books about the importance of teachers providing access to content in different ways, I’m happy now to make this book (and also The Power of Neurodiversity) available to the visual and to the auditory learner! Enjoy!
For more information about the book, go to the Books section of my website, and read an extended interview I did which covers much of the content of the book. You can also read a review of the book in The New York Times Book Review.
