In this video I describe six different additions that a person with ADHD can make to their environment at home, work, or in the classroom, to alleviate symptoms and maximize productivity. These include: being out in nature, using wiggle furniture, having fidget gear on hand, creating stimulating settings, and using insights from chronopsychology to find your time of day when you are most attentive (e.g. some people are ”morning” people while others are ”night owls” so ”night owls should do their most focused work in the late afternoon or evening, while ”larks” (morning people) should do their work in the morning or early afternoon. But everyone has a different pattern of being more or less attentive during some part of the day. The trick is to do your most focused work of the day during the part of the day when you are most focused. Try it!
